What Is Haunted Woods?
Haunted Woods is a fundraiser for Scouting's National Honor Society, the Order of the Arrow's local Lodge, Lenape Lodge 8. Hosted annually for over 20 years, the haunted tour through the woods is aimed at providing Cub Scouts, their families, and their friends an opportunity to have fun on a haunted walk while providing peace-of-mind regarding age-appropriate content for adult leaders and parents.
This year, Haunted Woods tours will be available for two nights, Friday, October 17th, & Saturday, October 18th. Tickets are available for sale either online or at either of the two council trading posts. Tickets are priced at $7 each.
Concessions and other fun activities will be available before and after your tour, so be sure you leave time to enjoy everything we have to offer!
About This Year's Theme
This year's theme: Jersey Monster Hunters is sure to be an exciting adventure. Monsters from the past have invaded the Jersey Pine Barrens. We need you Cub Scouts to come help fight the monsters and free the Pine Barrens! Join the Order Of The Arrow as we fight legendary monsters such as Big Foot, Yeti, and Jersey Devil!
The tour is a forty-minute guided walking tour on dirt trails. Be prepared for shrieks and screams (and maybe even some laughs) as you visit each skit designed for Cub Scouts, performed by Boy Scouts.
